Digest Advantage and Crohn's Disease

Not all diet plans for Crohn’s disease patients are going to be the same; it is very likely that they’ll change from person to person. By following an individualized Crohn diet, disease help or relief of symptoms may be achieved.

A complete Crohn's disease diet plan is important, but might have to be altered depending on the level of pain.
Also important is that the effected individual takes in at least eight glasses of water per day; studies show that the symptoms could be aggravated by tap water because of chlorine levels, so bottled water is ideal.
No diet plan for Crohn’s disease should include milk. Milk and some other dairy products are said to contain a certain bacteria contained in milk which helps to cause Crohn’s disease.
Most seafood, including fish, are recommended as an ideal diet plan item because they contain the essential omega-3 fatty acids. Salmon, twice a week is recommended by many nutritional experts for good health.
Diet plans for Crohn’s disease patients should be thoroughly discussed with a licensed physician.
